Downloading a LUT pack is the easy part. This guide covers how to install LUTs in the four editors our customers use most: Final Cut Pro, Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve and Filmora. The steps are similar in other NLEs, so the same logic usually carries across.
Before you start, unzip the pack you downloaded and keep the folder somewhere permanent. Our LUTs ship as .cube files, which every editor below can read. If you have not picked a pack yet, start with the set for your camera: DJI Mini 4 Pro, GoPro Hero, Sony FX3 and FX30 or iPhone 15 and 16 Pro.
How to install LUTs in Final Cut Pro

Final Cut treats our LUTs as custom camera LUTs, so you import them once and then apply them per clip.
- Select one or more clips that you recorded in a log profile.
- Press Command-4 to open the Inspector, then click the Info tab.
- Open the Metadata View menu at the bottom left and choose General, Extended or Settings.
- Click the Camera LUT menu and choose Add Custom Camera LUT.
- Browse to your unzipped folder and select a single .cube file, several files, or the whole folder.
- Set Output Color Space to match the target space named in the LUT, then click Open.
Your LUTs now sit under Custom Camera in the Camera LUT menu, and a folder import appears as its own submenu. To remove them later, choose Reveal in Finder, delete the files and restart Final Cut. Apple documents the same process in its Final Cut Pro guide.
How to install LUTs in Premiere Pro

Premiere splits LUTs into two jobs. An Input LUT interprets flat log footage and gives you a neutral starting point. A Look changes the style of a clip once the correction is done. Our conversion LUTs belong in the first group.
- Select a clip in the Timeline.
- Open the Lumetri Color panel and expand Basic Correction.
- Click the Input LUT menu and choose Browse.
- Pick the .cube file you want, and Premiere applies it straight away.
Adjust white balance and tone afterwards, then save your grade as a preset or export it as a .look or .cube file for other projects.
Where to put custom LUT files
Dropping the files into Adobe’s shared LUT folders makes them appear in Premiere’s menus permanently. On macOS use ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Common/LUTs, and on Windows use C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common\LUTs.
Inside that folder, a Technical subfolder feeds the Input LUT list and a Creative subfolder feeds the Creative Look list. Create whichever you need, copy your .cube files in, then restart Premiere. Installing for every user on the machine needs the equivalent system-wide folder and admin rights.
How to install LUTs in DaVinci Resolve

Resolve reads LUTs from its own folder, so you have to copy them in before they show up anywhere.
- Open Resolve and load any project.
- Click the settings gear at the bottom right to open Project Settings.
- Go to Color Management, scroll to Lookup Tables and click Open LUT Folder.
- Drag your unzipped folder into the LUT folder that opens, then close the window.
- Back in Color Management, click Update Lists and then Save.
On the Color page you can now right-click a node, choose 3D LUT and pick your pack from the list.
How to install LUTs in Filmora

Filmora keeps things simple, and it loads .cube files directly from wherever you saved them.
- Unzip the pack and note the folder location.
- Add your clip to the timeline and double-click it.
- Open the Color tab, then the LUT or 3D LUT section.
- Choose Custom or Load, browse to your .cube file and apply it.
- Dial the strength back if the look is too strong.
Troubleshooting a LUT that will not load
Most problems come down to three things. Check that you unzipped the download, because editors cannot read files inside a zip. Confirm the LUT matches the profile you shot in, since a D-Log LUT will not suit HLG footage. Finally, restart the editor after copying files into a system folder, as the menus only refresh on launch.
