Sony FX6
Precision-Calibrated LUTs for the Sony FX6
Sony FX6 LUTs are calibrated per internal ND stop against real footage, so every stop’s colour shift is corrected for. No guessing. Just accurate, consistent colour straight out of the box.
Calibrated for the Real World, Not a Studio
Every ND filter shifts colour differently, and every stop shifts it again. Simple LUTS are built from real footage shot on location — through the FX6’s internal NDs, at every stop from ND4 to ND64, including Winter Sun for low-colour-temperature light. Each one corrects for that exact colour cast. No guessing.
For best results: 5600K white balance, lowest ISO
Our LUTs are calibrated against a 5600K daylight white balance and base ISO. Match these settings to keep your footage’s colour foundation neutral and noise-free.
What’s Inside the FX6 LUT Pack
Conversion LUTs included in the pack are for S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine and ProRes Raw profiles:
Each ND stop is individually colour balanced for the Sony FX6’s internal ND system. Every LUT is tuned to correct the colour shift introduced at that specific stop.
- ND4
- ND8
- ND16
- ND32
- ND32 (Winter Sun)
- ND64
- No ND CL5600K ( Controlled Lighting)
Your pack includes S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine monitor LUTs for each ND stop — load them into the FX6 or a supported monitor (e.g. Atomos) for accurate on-set monitoring and grading.
All LUTs — S-Log3/S-Gamut3.Cine and ProRes Raw — are conformed to Rec.709.
Sony FX6 - Real world footage
Here’s a simple setup guideline for the SONY FX6 to ensure optimal video quality, with an emphasis on using simple LUTs and ND filters

Set White Balance
Lock white balance at 5600K. Every Simple LUTS pack is calibrated at 5600K. Match the camera to the LUT.

Adjust ISO
Set ISO to 800 (base ISO in Cine EI mode). The FX6 has two native ISOs — 800 and 12800. Stay at 800 for the cleanest image.

Adjust Frame Rate
Match your project base frequency — 23.98p, 24p, 25p, 29.97p, 50p, or 59.94p. Pick your frame rate and keep it consistent across your shoot.
Set Shutter Speed
Double your frame rate — 24fps = 1/50, 50p = 1/100, 60p = 1/120. This is the 180-degree shutter rule.

Use ND Filters
The FX6's internal ND controls exposure without changing shutter speed or ISO. Each ND stop is calibrated individually.

Apply Simple LUTs
Drop the matching LUT onto your footage in FCPX, DaVinci Resolve, or Premiere Pro. Match the ND stop. Done.
Buy once. Keep forever. Use anywhere.
No monthly fees. No subscription. No per-project licensing. Your LUTs are yours — use them on every project, every camera, every client.
Simple LUTS are also available for the Sony FX3, iPhone 17 Pro, DJI Osmo Pocket 3, DJI Mini 4 Pro, DJI Mini 3 Pro, and GoPro Hero 13 — all calibrated to the same standard. Shot on a Sony FX6? These LUTs are built specifically for it.
